The First Arc Car Show at Old Cowtown was a Smashing Success!!
Congrats to Roger Rankin who won the Pontiac Sunfire, and to Michael Bueno who won the freezer full of food!!

The wind swept dirt roads sure didn't ruin anyones hopes of this car show being a success. Spirits were high, the sky was even higher, and the number of people that participated was even higher. Overall, there were 242 paid car show entries, which is a new record by far from last years, with over 100 entries coming along last minute in the morning, which doesn't bother us any. Eveyone that we talked to that came to the show enjoyed their experience, many not even knowing what Old Cowtown was even about, but all learning a little about Wichita's past and with some cars, the present. Car enthusiasts traveled as far away as Washington to come experience this unique travel back in time. We hope that you enjoyed The Arc of Sedgwick County's Car Show at Old Cowtown, and hope that you join us next year for, what we are wanting to become, an anual and productive event. |
